2023 has begun, but the tallies are a constant in the world of consumer technology: the best laptops of the year , the best watches, the best cell phones , and among these, the best Samsung phones you can buy in 2023. Until today, the upcoming mobiles in Bangladesh, Galaxy s22 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Galaxy Z Fold4 have been the favorites of Samsung lovers. And while we await the presentation of the Galaxy S23 –probably in February–, those who follow have been the ones that have captured all eyes this year.
The best ever
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Why you should buy this: This is the most powerful productivity phone, with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, 5G, and the most accurate S Pen to date for note taking and annotation.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
This cell phone is a true productivity machine.
Who it’s for: Anyone who needs to take notes on their phone and wants some special features out of the ordinary and a foolproof camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra presented today is a hybrid that combines the best of the Note range —including the S Pen— and the Galaxy S family. Regarding its design, it is a device with straighter lines and in which the presence of stylus is inserted into the bottom of the phone. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G Price in Bangladesh. This stylus has much higher latency than previous Notes and also offers handwriting-to-text conversion in 88 languages.
Also, the fact that it is a cell phone designed for productivity does not mean that it is a device that would be in danger outside of an office. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is resistant to water and dust with IP68 certification, and its glass back is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Runner Up: Samsung Galaxy S22
You save $400 and get another great Samsung.
If you can’t justify the price of the S22 Ultra, the Galaxy S22 is a great alternative that will save you $400, and if you buy it from Samsung, you’ll get a free upgrade to the 256GB variant. Compared to the S22 Ultra, it is much more compact, with its 6.1-inch screen, but it has the same processor. However, the battery life is disappointing, with its 3700 mAh battery having a screen life of four to five hours with fairly demanding use. Lighter use should last a full day, but there are still some issues with idle battery drain here.
Charging is also slower than on the S22 Ultra, at 25 watts, and there’s no charger in the box. Finally, the rear camera has a triple lens instead of a quad. It’s lighter than the S22 Ultra, weighing in at 168 grams, so if you prefer your phones to be carried in your pocket or like to use them one-handed, the Galaxy S22 is a great choice.
The best for productivity
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
Why you should buy this: Now that the Galaxy Note is long gone, the Fold 4 is a productivity buff’s dream, with its dual screen, up to 1TB of storage, and a sturdy yet lightweight Armor aluminum frame.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
This cell phone is a true productivity machine.
Who it’s for: Anyone who wants a boost of productivity and top-tier specs in a foldable format.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the best productivity phone on the market right now, with a cool foldable form factor. The first thing you’ll notice is the productivity-focused dual displays: the 6.2-inch front display and 7.6-inch main display feature a variable 120Hz refresh rate that adapts based on what you’re doing. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a sturdy yet lightweight Armor aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the cover screen and back for added durability.
Good Look With the Z Fold 4 :
You get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip (in the US and UK), with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of onboard storage, though there are no microSD card slots. The 4,400mAh battery should see you through most days with plenty of gear, and there’s up to 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, though you won’t find a charger in the box.
On the camera front is a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 30x digital space zoom mode. There is also a 4MP under-screen camera.
But where the Z Fold 4 stands out is its productivity features.
There’s support for the S Pen, and while it doesn’t come with a storage slot like the Note, you can choose a case with storage included. The Z Fold 4 comes with Android 12L and One UI 4.4.1, which gives you a taskbar. This works like a Windows PC bar to let you quickly switch between apps, but it easily disappears when you don’t need it, like when watching videos in full screen.
You can use up to three apps on the unfolded screen and add a fourth app on top, which can be used as a floating window. Modifying the shape and size of each application window is a piece of cake, and it’s very easy to enable multitasking. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 also works with Samsung’s DeX mode, turning your smartphone into a desktop computer and providing access to Microsoft’s Xbox Games Pass. You’ll also get 5G connectivity and four Android OS updates, as well as five years of security updates, ensuring this phone will last you for years to come.
You can pre-order Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 right now, starting at $1,800. The phone goes on general sale on August 26.
Best Of: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3
Our runner-up in this section is the Galaxy Z Fold 3 . Although it currently costs about the same as the Z Fold 4, it will likely drop in price very soon. Both displays are the same size, but it features a narrower form factor, there’s a slightly less powerful processor (the Snapdragon 888), and the same 4,400mAh battery. You get the same 25W charging speeds, though wireless charging speeds are a bit slower at 11W. You also get up to 512GB of storage compared to up to 1TB on offer with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the same 12 GB of RAM. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a worthy competitor to the newer Z Fold 4, with only a few minor differences between the two, but it’s definitely worth waiting for it to drop (more) in price.
