Steven Furtick was born in 1974, in a small town in North Carolina. When he was just seventeen years old, he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and started working at a grocery store. In 1998, he graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in theology. Shortly after graduating from college, Steven became the pastor of a small church in Matthews, North Carolina.
In 2007, Steven founded The House Church Movement which quickly grew to become one of the largest Protestant ministries in the world with over 25,000 followers around the globe.
